Description
This piece is part of the Fragmented Memories series dedicated to my Mom going through Alzheimer’s. This disease knocks you down but 10 minutes later, you pick yourself back up not remembering that you were ever down. The cracks created in this flower represent the cracks in memory. When there’s a storm, the flowers are knocked around but when the sun comes up, they get back up again and stand tall in the sunshine.
