What makes you feel relaxed on a cold morning, ready to tackle the day? For me, it’s a cup of hot tea! My preference is a citrus blend green tea. I’m going to start a vlog entitled Tea with Tammy where we’re going to explore mixed media. We’re going to start with the modest tea bag! Twice a month I’ll come to you with a new video and I promise not to make them too long!
The tea bag can be incoporated into so many different mixed media projects! You can add it to your art journal, you can adhere it with Matte Medium in an acrylic piece, you can sew it into an art quilt, you can doodle on the tea bag and have that be the art itself, or you can add it to encaustics. Since encaustics is my favorite that is where I’m going to start. So many options!
